Proximity secured
Unlike other outdoor curtain motion detectors, DualCurtain Outdoor has a technology that allows it to increase the covered area. When Near Area Detection is on, the upper PIR sensor of the detector receives a second, narrow viewing sector that is 40 degrees lower than the primary sector. The function addresses the issue of the blind area, which is a common issue with such detectors, by enabling both sensors to detect movement when a human passes the protected perimeter close to the detector's body.
The goal of near area detection is to safeguard windows and other openings that are inaccessible to animals. The effectiveness of pet immunity is considerably decreased by the vectors in the detecting zones' proximity.
