The infrared radiation intensity, heat spot size, motion speed, time spent in the detection zone, and other parameters are all immediately analysed by the detector from the thermal diagram.
Temperature compensation is a software process that maintains the thermal diagram contrast even when the ambient temperature approaches that of the human body. Using the coefficient table, it has stored in its memory, the detector adjusts the PIR sensor data for each ambient temperature measurement. Over its entire operational temperature range, the detector remains effective.
The detector adjusts to the environment of a specific room using the sensitivity setting and accounting for any thermal interference or pets. The markers used to filter false alerts change when the sensitivity level is adjusted. When the detector's sensitivity is poor, even an active pet is less likely to trigger a signal. Furthermore, using high sensitivity, it will sound the alarm if any motion is detected within the area. Both locally and remotely, the Ajax app's sensitivity settings are configurable.
The Fresnel lens pattern is produced such that there are noticeable distinctions between the patterns representing a person, an animal, and thermal noise. At the level of an adult's head and body, the lens captures large areas of radiation from the body.The diagram is more detailed when the pieces are smaller. The MotionCam Jeweller lens gives the detector precise information regarding the type of movement being made by the thermal object in the detecting zone.
Installing MotionCam in the proper location, at the proper height, and perpendicular to the likely intrusion path ensures an informative thermal diagram. It greatly raises detection precision. The pet immunity feature is also more effective when MotionCam is installed by an expert.

MotionCam detector combines two radio protocols at once: Wings for photo transmission and Jeweller for alert notification. Even with communication breakdowns and a weak connection, Wings can deliver the first snapshot from the incident in just 9 seconds, while Jeweller enables fast alarm transmission. The detector's communication range with the hub is up to 1,700 metres, allowing it to be simply installed where it will be most effective.
MotionCam PhOD provides immediate peace of mind by quickly displaying the real-time situation at the scene in just a matter of seconds, effectively resolving any uncertainties that the user may have in the event of an alarm. Users can simply take an on-demand photo with just one click in the Ajax app. Additionally, the detector is equipped to automatically capture a series of photos if motion is detected.
A few touches will add the MotionCam detector to an Ajax security system. Assign the detector to the room in the Ajax app by opening it and scanning the QR code. The detector enclosure doesn't need to be taken apart. You can safely attach the detector on a flat surface or in a corner using the SmartBracket mounting plate.
