The Protege WX DIN Rail Single Door Controller serves as the central processing unit for the Protege WX system, managing security, access control, and building automation. This device plays a crucial role in communicating with all system modules, storing configuration and transaction data, and processing system communications. It also reports alarms and system activities to a monitoring station or remote computer.

This controller features a web-based architecture, providing cross-platform access and flexible configuration. It is compatible with all Protege expander modules and includes comprehensive front panel LED indicators for quick visibility of device status. Firmware upgrades are straightforward, performed directly through the Protege WX interface.

Designed with user convenience in mind, the Protege WX DIN Rail Single Door Controller offers an intuitive, wizard-driven interface for easy deployment. It comes factory-loaded with an HTTPS certificate and includes one integrated RS-485 reader port, allowing for the connection of two readers to control entry and exit for a single door. Additional features include OSDP-configurable RS-485, two high-security monitored inputs, and one high-current Form C relay output. The controller is designed for use with standard DIN rail mounting, ensuring ease of installation and integration into existing systems.
