The tSec Extra Reader offers a comprehensive multi-technology smart card RFID solution, compatible with all Wiegand-capable control systems and featuring RS-485 communication. This reader enables quick and secure deployment of technology in any environment. It supports 125kHz wireless technology and is available with a keypad in black or white, allowing you to select the model that best fits your installation’s needs and decor.

The tSec Extra Reader supports 125kHz cards, offers encrypted RS-485 or standard Wiegand connections, and includes NFC credential reading. It also supports the OSDP communication protocol with a secure channel. With a read range of up to 60mm (2.36") for proximity ISO cards, the reader ensures reliable performance. The configurable LED strip provides two-color control (blue and green) via external wiring, with 16 selectable colors for Protege function codes when using RS-485.

Designed with a fully encapsulated, IP65-rated exterior, the tSec Extra Reader is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its standard wall plate size makes it ideal for replacing existing fittings, and optional accessories are available to expand installation possibilities.
