Protege Multi-Network repeater (IP to RS-485)

The Protege Module Network Repeater is a versatile solution designed to enhance the network capabilities of the Protege system, making it easier to extend network access in challenging environments where distance or physical obstacles pose a problem. By integrating the network repeater into the system via RS-485 or ethernet, the repeater provides robust optical isolation between up to three branches of the module network, ensuring reliable communication across the system.

This device features three isolated RS-485 connections and supports secure encrypted RS-485 module communications, maintaining the integrity and security of the network. With an internal industry-standard 10/100 ethernet connection and a configurable RS-485 biasing option, the repeater offers flexible options for expanding the network either through RS-485 or ethernet connections. The front panel LED indicators further enhance usability by providing a clear and immediate visual status of the device.

Designed for use with industry-standard DIN rail mounting, the Protege Module Network Repeater also includes a built-in web interface for straightforward module configuration. This feature, combined with its robust design, makes it an essential tool for expanding and securing your Protege system network.
