The Protege WX DIN Rail Single Door Controller serves as the central processing unit for security, access control, and building automation within the Protege WX system. This controller manages all system communications, stores configuration and transaction data, and reports alarms and system activities to monitoring stations or remote computers.

With a web-based architecture, the controller offers cross-platform access and flexible configuration. It features an intuitive wizard-driven interface for quick deployment and an internal 10/100 Ethernet connection for reliable communication. The advanced 32-bit RISC processor, complemented by 2GB of memory, ensures efficient operation. Security is reinforced through encrypted RS-485 communication and NIST-certified AES encryption. The controller supports up to two readers for single-door entry and exit control and includes comprehensive LED indicators, high-security monitored inputs, and various output options. Designed for DIN rail mounting, the controller is compatible with all Protege expander modules and supports direct firmware upgrades via the Protege WX interface.
