The Protege GX DIN Rail Integrated System Controller is the heart of the Protege GX system, managing security, access control, and building automation. As the central processing unit, it seamlessly communicates with all system modules, storing and processing configuration and transaction data. This controller also handles all system communications, reporting alarms and activity to monitoring stations or remote computers, ensuring comprehensive system oversight.

Equipped with a high-performance 32-bit RISC processor and 2GB of total memory, the controller offers robust processing capabilities. It features secure, encrypted RS-485 module network communication with NIST-certified AES 128, 192, and 256-bit encryption, providing advanced security for sensitive data. The built-in offsite communications dialer supports both Contact ID and SIA formats, enhancing its functionality for remote monitoring.

Designed for easy integration, the controller includes an internal 10/100 Ethernet connection and is compatible with industry-standard DIN rail mounting. With two configurable reader ports for Wiegand or RS-485 operation, eight high-security monitored inputs, and multiple relay outputs, the Protege GX DIN Rail Controller is versatile and scalable, fitting seamlessly into a wide range of security and automation applications.
