The tSec Extra Reader delivers a comprehensive multi-technology smart card RFID solution, designed for compatibility with all Wiegand-capable control systems and featuring RS-485 communication. This versatile reader facilitates rapid deployment of secure technology across various environments. Supporting 13.56MHz wireless technology, the tSec Extra Reader is available with an optional keypad and in either black or white, allowing you to choose a model that suits your installation's needs and aesthetic.

The reader supports DESFire and MIFARE cards, offers encrypted RS-485 or standard Wiegand connections, and includes NFC credential reading. It is equipped with the OSDP communication protocol, complete with a secure channel, and provides a read range of up to 60mm (2.36") for proximity ISO cards. The configurable LED strip offers two-color control (blue and green) via external wiring, with 16 color options for Protege function codes (RS-485 connection only).

Built with a fully encapsulated design and an IP65 environmental rating, the tSec Extra Reader is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Its standard wall plate size ensures compatibility with existing fittings, and optional accessories further expand its installation possibilities.
