Available with a keypad and in either black or white, the tSec Extra Reader can be tailored to meet the specific needs and aesthetic preferences of any installation.

This reader supports DESFire, MIFARE, and 125kHz cards, ensuring broad compatibility from a single device. It offers secure communication through encrypted RS-485 or standard Wiegand connections and includes NFC credential reading. The reader also supports the OSDP communication protocol with a secure channel, providing an additional layer of security.

The tSec Extra Reader features a read range of up to 60mm (2.36") with proximity ISO cards and a configurable LED strip that allows for two-color control (blue and green) via external wiring, with 16 color options for Protege function codes when connected via RS-485. Its fully encapsulated design, rated IP65, ensures durability for both indoor and outdoor use. The reader’s standard wall plate size allows for easy replacement of existing fittings, and optional accessories further enhance its installation versatility.
